lamp brightness is too bright for night use. I have a 2018 Toyota Avalon, the vanity mirror uses two of these bulbs placed vertically on each side of the mirror. That's too much light when you're trying to focus on your face in the mirror. This ruins the driver's night vision and makes it almost impossible to see when the passenger uses the mirror. This could be a good solution for other applications, perhaps where the vanity mirror has a single bulb mounted on the ceiling and the light is projected onto the user's face/head. If you have a vanity mirror in the same style as mine I would ditch it and look for a lower Kelvin temp and a less bright bulb to solve your problem.
