Review on 🀿 Cressi Travel-Friendly Light Back Inflation Scuba Diving BCD, Patrol Edition: Designed in Italy by Joe Roberts

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Adjustable lightweight welt pockets are a must

Used intensive boat diving for 7 consecutive days, worked very well. Additional strap pockets on the tank (any 2" strap will do) are required for proper balance (should come with them but are cheap). I used 55% of the weight in the fender pockets and 45% in the tank strap pockets - your balance may vary. The straps for everything are adjustable, which virtually eliminates any fit issues or changing from a suit without sacrificing something very bulky. There are 4 ways to deflate - traditional tube valve or pulling the inflation tube, open the port in the top left corner, or the right side cord, or the bottom right cord. Everything is very convenient. There is a "bag" which is awkward at best - I left it rolled up and secured with all my extra gear either strapped directly onto it or to the retractors. A proper pocket somewhere, maybe side pockets for the weight, might appreciate but not a huge loss. Pros: light weight, easy to adjust, fits nicely in a mesh boat bag for portability.

  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
