Works seamlessly between Dell XPS 15 and Dell 4k monitor
I bought this adapter to connect my Dell XPS 15 (9560) to my Dell 4K monitor (U2718Q). The monitor comes with a Mini DisplayPort cable which I use to connect to my work machine (MacBook Pro 2015), but my XPS 15 has USB Type-C/Thunderbolt 3. I dual boot and have no problems with Windows. 10 or Fedora 29. I'm using a display with a native resolution of 3840 x 2160 @ 59 Hz.
