Didn't work as expected!

We have a VR house and one of the rooms has a 2004 Toshiba HD LCD that has no USB or HDMI ports. I had to install a Roku Stick (only one with RCA option). purchased - Volantech Component YPbPr RGB to HDMI 4K Converter V1.4 Support PS3, DVD, Xbox 360 for HDTV, monitor and beamer. + BlueRigger 5 RCA Component Video and Audio Cable (12ft). I used to buy BlueRigger cables for 6 months to 1 year with no problems. I first connected the TV to a Panasonic DVD player with built-in WiFi using RCA cables, but the resolution was below average for WiFi and didn't display properly on the DVD movie. Second, I tried this setup 3-4 times to get it working, but I didn't even get a video signal because the Toshiba was only 6 feet away. *Either Volantech YPbPr RGB Component to HDMI 4K Converter is nothing but Chinese crap (maybe it was D/C). *BlueRigger 5 RCA component video and audio cables were NOT solid copper wires. * Or just both.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Good but not great
