UPDATE 8/19/21 I like it but there are things I hate. It will automatically change the screen timeout to 1 minute NO MATTER HOW MANY YOU CHANGE IT! What is WTF about? Leave my settings alone Alexa. Even if I take him off the dock, I don't care about Alex, she needs to back off completely at this point. My guess with all the negative reviews is that they were all early adopters of something that may not have been discontinued. ready for release, but still forces a release. I didn't get this when I first put it out, it's been a little over a year and I can say I was immediately so impressed that I went ahead and bought another one for the kitchen. It works great if you're not a Google Assistant. If you're the Revain Alexa type, no problem. Just connect your account and you're done. I like it. It's aluminum, not plastic. Very durable. Has a nice big screen that's easy to see from a distance and works exactly like you'd expect Alexa to do and exactly like you'd expect a standalone tablet to (mmmm, see update above, lol).
