First, I don't want to overwhelm you with all the technical details. There are many websites for these types of measurements. As an IT professional with 20 years of experience, I can tell you that this is a solid processor. I replaced Xeon E3-1225 with this processor. Again, when it comes to Xeon performance and virtualization, this is a solid upgrade. My system is stable, runs faster, programs run faster, and my VMs in my labs run much more efficiently with the speed an IT professional needs. If you are considering 10600 it is worth considering if you are in the performance range. If you like overclocking games, then this processor is not the best option. However, it's reasonably priced, has some good motherboard support options, and I've even migrated my RAM from my 4-year-old Xeon system with no problems. So it's not the most economical processor. However, it's relatively economical, stable, has good hardware support options, and offers a significant improvement over previous generation Intel products. The point is, if you want to buy a reliable processor, this is a good choice. If you want to overclock it to a lava pit in your tower, just go elsewhere and don't leave negative reviews if you're the one that doesn't meet the specs.
