I've never had a hair dryer. I have long, very fine, curly hair and always let it air dry. After four pregnancies my hair lost most of its frizz and my hairstylist advised me to buy a blow dryer with a diffuser to get rid of the remaining frizz. She was right. This hair dryer and diffuser really brings back and sets most of my curls. I'm still learning how to use it more effectively, but most days I still let my hair air dry when I get the chance to wash my hair (again, I have four kids, showers are a luxury ). But on days when I want to leave my hair down or look more formal, I spend extra time blowing it out. It takes about 20 minutes to dry and style your hair with this hair dryer. I don't know if that's typical or not, but most of the time I don't have that much time to devote to hair care. I am grateful to have this tool and am happy with the purchase.
