This thing won't cool a 10' x 10' room. Not even a little bit. I tried soaking it in ice water but it still didn't cool the room. May be? This cools your face a little from 6 inches away, but not much. There is no remote control and if you try to move it water will spill. The noise level is only acceptable because it is a weak fan motor that pumps very little air. I can't think of a situation where this thing would be worth spending money on. I wish I hadn't. Attention buyers. Update: I asked for a refund. The advertising says it should work for 8-10 hours on battery power. I got 1-2 hours on low settings and a full charge. The battery doesn't seem to be holding a charge so I gave up. Revain approved the refund but I have to drive 40 minutes to return it to the UPS store. I'd rather just throw it away but apparently wouldn't get a refund if I did.
