I loved these stools! I shopped a lot to find what I was looking for and they fit perfectly in every way. I loved them in my living room and they brought just the right amount of sophisticated play to the room. Unfortunately, less than a year has passed and they have largely flattened out. I have to "fluff them up" almost every day and they just look shabby. They're filled with newspaper or something that doesn't really fluff up. I was even willing to take out the stuffing and stuff it back in with something more permanent, but I don't think I'll be able to finish the weave again. When I first received these poufs (I ordered two and both got the same result) I would give them 4-5 stars. I'm writing this review now because I had to replace it and bought it less than a year ago. If you're looking for a short-term cutesy fix, this is a good find. If you are looking for something that will last more than a year I would choose something else. They are also fairly low off the ground. This is not a real ottoman in the sense that your feet are flush with the sofa. They are much stockier, especially as they sag over time.
