Review on ๐ŸŽฎ 8BitDo Pro 2 Gray Edition: Bluetooth Controller for Nintendo Switch/Switch OLED, PC, macOS, Android, Steam & Raspberry Pi by Adam Nelson

Excellent - as long as you can use the setup software.

I have the original 8Bitdo Pro+ controller and it's my favorite 3rd party switch controller and probably one of my favorite controllers of all time. Great d-pad, great triggers and buttons, feels good in hand, works on multiple systems, just claps in all directions. The addition of rocker buttons and a simple connect switch sounded like a surefire win, and most of the time it is. BUT. It's also true that on the Switch - at least on my Switch - the sticks are overly sensitive. This is NOT a drift, to be clear. But moving back to center quite often gave me input in a direction opposite or adjacent to the previous input. Which is very frustrating when you play the game. The good news is they have great customization software that you can download and use to customize deadzone on the joysticks, trigger and rumble response, button placement, and more. do you want. And if you can download this on pc, android or ios and apply the profile to your controller you can absolutely solve this problem and after that it works great and i love it. Perhaps that's a bonus, because however your particular system responds to this controller, you can customize it. Beware of this controller I've never had an issue with it on the Pro+. So be aware of that, and if running the software isn't a problem for you, I think you'll love this pad.
