The big end was smaller than the boots that came off, I had a heck of a time to put one side on. When I got very aggressive with it, they went a little easier. What I had to do was pry it onto the stand with a screwdriver and let it fold up. Once it was on I was able to gently twist the end out. Would I buy again? I don't know, but I put them on
