I was looking for running pants with an elastic lining that were no longer than the real pants. Hidden unless he sits down or moves a little. These shorts are inexpensive. I have my favorite lined running shorts, but they're expensive. About twice as expensive as this one. The outer fabric is not smooth like my favorite shorts. I like the 5 inch length. The fabric still suits me. Overall I love these shorts. I have three now. If they had more color options that I like I would definitely buy more. I recently flew on an airplane wearing shorts. They felt perfect. Definitely comfortable.
