This is a water bottle, no holes, you can drink from it. bought right away. Several people are working on HydroFlask, which keeps water cold for more than a day, but I like Nalgene's for one reason: it's clear so I can keep an eye on my drinking water throughout the day. BFA free. The wide neck is a Trap-22 because it is very easy to fill and there is a risk of splashing yourself with water. The latter is a personal issue and the description clearly says it is a wide mouth water bottle. That's exactly why I bought a fender. 4 star rating because there were slight scuffs on the bottom of the water bottle.
