Looks great and works great.

It was a bit annoying when I assembled it. The instructions weren't as clear as they should be so I had to take things apart and put them back together. That's rare for me. I usually drive very slowly so as not to make any mistakes. I chose not to put it in a box. I love the idea of the crate but thought my large 11 year old cat would refuse to use it without enough headroom. I definitely made the right decision because she doesn't seem to like it. Usually she goes downstairs to take advantage of another one that isn't closed. Though she uses the closet, just not all the time. Our 1-1/year old cat loves it. I love it because we don't have to look at it in our upstairs hallway and it's AMAZING it actually holds odors really well. I figured it wouldn't make a difference. Another thing I was trying to control was the debris splashing all over the way as our kitten was hurtling at 50 mph. It's good that this closet helped a lot with that. I put a garbage collection mat under the whole thing and kept the sides out. There's a lot less junk lying around between the carpet and the closet holding it back in the hallway. It's not zero (sometimes it is), but it's not too much compared to before. Now that I know my larger, older cat will be using it, I might get another one for the downstairs one. Oh, and I'm pretty sure the door is NOT re-hinged (which means it can only be on the right). I was looking for a way when assembling it and from what I remember it seemed impossible, but if other reviews say it's possible I might have missed it.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
