My family is made up of tall people and the elderly and as lifelong boaters we know one thing, it's that the steps should be long enough to fit comfortably. and out of the water. These steps are perfect for our pontoon. They are easy to install and durable. I recommend replacing the latch that holds the ladder with something better to hold it in place when moving. During the ride we use a bungee cord with a boar clip. We used this on the front deck of the pontoon in place of the rear entry and it works great (just replacing the steps that were already in place by the previous owner).
