update: i also have one installed on a segway ninebot max g30p. The video can be found here and also on YouTube. I mounted the original version on a Schwinn tricycle because there was no room on the handlebars for mirrors. I routed it through the wiring harness I used for the e-bike conversion and zipped it under the basket to the support beam. I was able to see the person driving behind me and things coming from behind better than without a mirror, but I'll double check. I also have a version with an updated camera, it doesn't have as many settings as the original, but still enough.
