Website recommends Medium. I ordered the larger ones and they were a little tight, coming up to the waist. It's a very high waist. Look at the model and move an additional 3-4 inches up her waist to represent the actual waist. This particular style is not bulky. They are warm, comfortable and soft. I hope they don't shrink in the wash or they'll get small. They do not dangle and do not dangle by the feet. They're pretty streamlined without a fit. I am 5 feet 6 inches tall and weigh 151 pounds. Tummy tuck so it's not mom's tummy that made her waist tight. They were a good length. With them, you could easily wear sneakers and not worry that they would stretch. In fact, they are the perfect length. I would recommend increasing the size.
