I have long, thick hair (mid-back) that doesn't hold curls well due to the weight. I used my old rollers earlier in the week and by the end of the day my hair was definitely falling out, especially with the wider rollers. But the next night I tried them to see how they compare. They were quicker (and easier) to apply than curlers in my opinion, but it took me a few tries to figure out how much hair I had to part. etc. I took 1 inch lengths, sprayed them with water and brushed them out before pulling them through individually. I did 4 layers with 5 curlers per layer, two on each side and one on the back and I had enough curlers to go all over the hair. a scarf to remove from your face and sleep in. As far as I can tell, most people don't sleep in it, but I don't get up early enough to let it sit in my hair for hours before heading to work, so I just wrapped it up and gave it my best sleep. . ...They were easy to take off and I sprayed them with hairspray to give them a chance. They lasted all day and into the evening and I probably would have had nice wavy hair by day two if I'd just let it be, but I put it back on and slept in it again to have fresh curls this morning. Took less than 20 minutes to get them all a second time and they look great again today! For the price it couldn't be better. Highly recommended.
