I am ashamed. Lesson learned. They are hard as stone and almost impossible to carve. I tried to cut 2 thinking I got the bad one. no everything might as well be made of stone. Don't waste your money! I will most likely toss them at the bottom of a flower pot to drain them rather than spending money on extra rocks as they are rock hard anyway.
