Broken Pulley

First, I have two very strong mixed breed dogs, a 50 lb female and a 75 lb male. I have a trolley for each dog, and since it's rated for dogs up to 125 pounds, I thought it might be a bit better than what they sell at my local hardware store. The vinyl coating on my wife's trolley has already partially peeled off. This leads me to suspect that once rust occurs, the cable will break. In my husband's trolley system, the pulley broke within a few days of installing the system. The wheel came out of the pulley, only the pulley housing remained. As my dog paced his cart, the roller body separated from the vinyl cover in several places until the body broke as well, allowing my dog to move freely. Once again the rust in the cable breaks. I ordered these in anticipation of my old systems failing so I didn't install them straight away and it's now out of the return window or I would have returned them. If you are looking for something to keep a larger, more active dog, I would look elsewhere.
