My husband wears a tie every day to teach at a technical college and he only wears tight ties. He's had some of them for 30 years because he can't easily replace them - a few in department stores, mostly second-hand. He wears everything (don't tell him I secretly throw away and donate very worn stuff!) and I think he needs new ties to match the new shirts he recently bought. This blue and black striped tie is exactly as pictured. I'm not sure why anyone would disparage a nice $10 tie? No, it's not silk or a fashion designer brand, but it's just beautiful and profitable. I really see no point in spending $60 on a tie when you can buy 6 that look just as good and last a lot longer. In addition, you often tremble with your image. I wandered around Revain and read reviews for some time before purchasing this and two others. I absolutely love all three, but this one is the best. Mainly because my husband already likes wearing them!
