I've tried one or two other solutions, like the Switch-like Razer Kishi, but ended up preferring this one. Other models were awkward to hold and poorly designed, e.g. B. Carrying the weight of anything by pressing your hand against a seam in the plastic. It looks more natural. A big plus is that I don't have to take my phone out of the case every time. Universal charging cables also come in very handy, even if you don't count the controller. For reference, my hands are larger than average, but they're not massive. A couple of criticisms: It's heavy. Combine that with the Note 9 and you get some power. Because of the weight, proper posture and balance become important for games for a while. Fatigue is a bigger problem than a high-capacity controller or a phone battery (which can be charged through the controller). Having two extra buttons on the back is great, but they can only be programmed to duplicate existing buttons. I wish they were dedicated buttons and fully programmable. It would be really cool to have one or both keys as a modifier key to change the behavior of other keys or maybe duplicate another key with a turbo function. (RIP my broken steam controller). Finally, most of the buttons work great, but the d-pad is pretty bad. Very, very soft, not good at all.
