Very thin fabric with raw edges. Although I read the description before purchasing the scarf and it said raw edges, I wasn't expecting it to be a strip of VERY thin t-shirt material, sewn on one end and rolled and roughly trimmed on both outside edges is. Although the price is very cheap (it is said that originally 29.50 was "cut" to 12.99), but it shouldn't be that far-fetched. To do this, it will likely cost about $1 per jersey maximum and take less than five minutes to set up the machine to sew the seam. The photo of a beautiful, long and full scarf is very different from what I'm sitting in front of. I will come back to this and not buy again.
