Not good for kitchen and dining room

My husband bought this for me hoping it would help with a recurring problem in our house. Our 2 Basset Hound Boys, Roscoe and Mortimer LOVE sweet potato treats! Unfortunately, the company (Beefeaters) has stopped production. I've tried other brands but Basset Boys are picky so I started making my own version. Needless to say, it got pretty tiring after a very short time. The excitement surrounding Rotato quickly passed. Rotato peeling. First, as directed in the instructions, make sure your product is properly shaped and symmetrical. what what When was the last time you saw a perfectly symmetrical sweet potato? At least not in my experience. In addition, smaller potatoes in our case require too much work. The next problem is that the "blade" cuts a fairly deep groove in the potato as it rotates along the potato. Also, the top and bottom of a potato, even if cut evenly, will never be peeled. Basically I had to use a knife to finish the shell. So he turns the potato and removes some of the skin, leaving ridges and a lot of skin. I suggest you save your money.
