This is the best bedspread I have ever found for my king bed. All the others I've tried shrink in the wash or were too small to begin with. This one really is the right size and drapes beautifully on the sides and bottom. The light gray is exactly the same as pictured and is really versatile with a variety of upholstery and cushion accents. It's incredibly soft and the weight is fabulous. It's almost like a lightly weighted blanket, making it cozy but not so heavy that it's uncomfortable. I wear it with flannel sheets in the winter, but I think it would work well with cotton sheets in the summer. times more than in department stores. The only minor downside is that it took a few cycles in the dryer just because of the size, but that's to be expected. Feel free to roll the dice if you're considering it.
