I ordered two of these carafes this spring and use them every day. They are easy to clean and the spout is perfect even for my limited motor skills. They are very comfortable to hold and hold well in the hands of children. Pour it over the sink first to see the water pour out of the spout. The glass is strong, I've dropped it on linoleum and tables several times. Luckily they weren't broken or even torn. While I wouldn't make a habit of testing its durability, I wouldn't expect to either. The decanters hold pretty much exactly one liter of liquid. I didn't put cold drinks in it, although I poured almost boiling water and they stay warm much longer than I expected. Im impressed with them and plan to order more.
