So I needed an adapter to go with my 2022 XPS. I had two adapters from separate sellers in mind however ultimately stuck with this due to more reviews and USB ports. Forgetting all the other ports I really needed this to be able to use Ethernet and rarely to plug more than one USB flash or external HDD to transfer files one to another. This product is incredibly unreliable. When trying to use for Ethernet somewhere randomly I’ll just lose Ethernet connection. Then I have to unplug the Ethernet from the adapter and the adapter from computer… to MAYBE get it to work again then repeat. The one time I plugged in an iPhone charger/usb and my external HDD… again adapter stopped working, and no amount of unplugging or replugging worked… I genuinely thought the adapter broke until the next day. Idk. I really needed this to be reliable and to work consistently because I’m abroad for study where it’s a bit difficult to find what I need when I need it without also the hassle of paying excessively. Support originally wanted to have me ship them the device which is not feasible for me. They did help with a partial refund which was ok I suppose.
