University of Pennsylvania is a private Ivy League research university

Let me tell you about a private Ivy League research university called the University of Pennsylvania. Judging by the name, it is already clear that it is located in the state of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. It was originally founded as a College of Philadelphia in 1740 and is one of 9 colonial colleges that were registered even before the adoption of the US Declaration of Independence.

The university consists of four undergraduate schools and 12 high schools. The university has its own policy - the One University Policy. This policy allows all students to enroll in classes at any of the 12 schools. I would like to note that out of 12 schools there is one highly professional school - a law school. It was in this school that the first draft of the US Constitution, the first university school and the first medical school in North America were created.

The University of Pennsylvania seeks to pursue its policy and knowledge in life, building on Benjamin Franklin's words "well done is better than well said," thereby focusing on Penn Compact 2022.

At the moment, the university is doing everything to ensure that students are involved in research and discoveries, in solving the most complex world problems. I liked that the university also offers financial aid packages in the form of grants to its students. Just imagine, in 2018-2019 more than 46% of undergraduate students received financial assistance on the basis of grants.

The University of Pennsylvania has developed and implemented the Teacher Diversity and Development Action Plan to build a strong and dignified community of students, academics, and staff. In addition, the University of Pennsylvania has a Penn Integrates Knowledge program. Through this program, the university tries to find solutions to the world's complex problems, which is why it has eminent interdisciplinary faculty and scholars who strive to find momentum in solving problems.

The University of Pennsylvania wants to create an innovative and effective Ivy League education that is accessible to all talented and best students, regardless of their economic situation. Therefore, the "Penn's Power" campaign was also created. This campaign is dedicated to expanding a massive student aid funding program and increasing aid to graduate and undergraduate students.

In my opinion, their site is very good, you can find any information you are interested in in detail.
