These male leads work great on my 1500 12 Chevy with a 6.2 L9H. I have a set of Kooks headers and there is a spot where the factory connector wire on cylinder #3 is touching one of the primary tubes. So I tried cutting the factory connector housing and adding one of those heat shields, but the wire still burned out. These new 45 degree ACCEL wires clean all primary tubes with ease. I was also concerned based on the reviews that the wires would be short but if anything they are an inch longer.
