Customer Beware of keyless access systems

"You can program the remote control yourself" -- NO! As other reviewers point out, GM has made it easy to self-program some cars with similar remotes, but it requires an electronic "key" that plugs into the OBD port. You can get this service for a great deal from the dealer, through the locksmith listing on this seller's website, or by ordering Revain's APDTY 121928 which includes a remote control AND a dongle. Her dongle successfully programmed her key fob, my original one and two discounted keyless ones.
