This collar is a great idea. I wanted to test it thoroughly first before putting it on a dog. The collar is smart enough not to trip when other things make noise. I barked at the collar for minutes and it didn't work. I was curious to see what would work so I put it on. If I barked deep in my throat, he would shut down. I thought I had it on Beep + Vibrate but I was wrong. I was hit twice in the throat while screaming and trying to take it off. If you use this collar, follow the instructions and just test it in mode 0. In test mode I was able to hear and feel everything I needed. without any other side effects (e.g. sore throat). The battery lasted a long time, much longer than any other dog collar I've used. All modes will attract pet's attention, so it's a great tool for pet training. If you are training a dog or want to lead a deviant lifestyle, this collar is definitely for you. It's super efficient!
