Warning: the pants are THIN. Seems very thin. I knew that from the reviews. I wanted pants that wouldn't feel heavy when it's very warm outside. So I wanted thin. For this reason I award 5 stars. If they last more than a year I'll be very happy given the cost. It was the thin, light weight I was looking for. I haven't washed them yet. If repeated washing causes them to not hold up I will edit the review.
