Review on 🔆 Enhance Your Lighting with Sunco Directional Downlight Replacement by Roberto Evans

I needed to replace 10 halogen lights with LED lights in a vaulted ceiling. Although the ceiling was curved, the recessed lights were intended for flat ceilings, but the modified LED lights could not be properly focused. So we decided to install modified LED pendants and aim the lamps to focus on the floor and wash the walls. Commercial Electric's LED gimbals produced great light but had painful glare at certain angles, so they're back. We have only tried (1) the HALO LED 3000K pendant light and really liked the fit, the quality and color of the finish, the freedom of movement and the light color. but at $40 apiece they were overpriced. So we quickly searched Revain and found these Sunco Gimbal Lights. We found the light color of the Sunco lights to be beautiful, actually very similar to the HALO 3000K. The gimbal eye was very easy to move and we were able to rotate each light to illuminate the right areas in each room. If I were replacing a lot of recessed lights but on a budget, I would definitely buy Sunco lights. . However, where there are fewer lights with a more generous budget, I would go with HALO 3000K LED pendants. Our project budget was very limited, so we ended up installing 10 Sunco LED gimbals. But we had some very small issues with the Sunco mods that we didn't have with HALO.1. EVERY lamp arrived with slight scuffs on the front of the fixture, but we decided we couldn't see the scuffs on the 12-foot vaulted ceiling.2. The color of the paint is actually warm or yellow-white. and we just painted the ceilings with Swiss Coffee Matte which is very white, I think it's household white. Therefore, when these lamps are not on and the room is very bright and you look at the lamps, you will see that the body of the lamp is warm white in color. But again, we decided it would be fine for this project. And we only mention that because the HALO LEDs were painted true white, almost off-white. If this is very important to you, maybe buy one to try the color of your room(s).3. The spring hangers are very stiff and we had a hard time installing them. When we opened the box one of the spring hangers on one of the mods was slightly misaligned and when we compressed the springs to install the lamp the spring twisted so much we had to send the mod back. Although the return process was very easy, it was a shame to come back inside just to hang up the lights. HTH. Good luck with your project.
