Review on πŸ’¦ WaterWorks 481108 by Industrial Test Systems: Enhanced SEO-friendly Version by Tarrance Man

A good way to measure the hardness of well water.

To calibrate my new water softener, I purchased MHT total hardness strips and Industrial Test Systems WaterWorks total hardness strips for comparison. The MHT strips were either defective or unusable. First, the hardness method requires comparing the color palette on the test strip with the colors on the vial label. The MHT colors are very close together and if the test strips showed color changes it would be difficult to match them to a specific color on the bottle. In my case it didn't matter. In both very hard and very soft water, the test strips showed the same dark green color with virtually no difference between the samples. In contrast, the total hardness test strips from Industrial Test Systems WaterWorks performed very well. The range of colors available on the bottle for comparison is quite wide and makes it easy to distinguish one shade from another. Also, in my case, the test strip used in the hard water sample showed a completely different result than the strip used in the soft water sample, indicating both that my water softener is working and that Industrial Test Systems test strips work as advertised. .
