Device arrived broken and isn't eligible for return?

I just got this product today. I read all the instructions and tried turning it on. Nothing. I took the batteries out to see if there was something wrong with them, but no, the device is just broken. So I promptly went to request a return/replacement, but apparently the seller has disallowed returns due to "safety" reasons because this product contains "flammable fluids". Um, where? This is an unacceptable scam. Save your money and don't buy this garbage.

Now worth what was spent

Wish it cane with 2 sets of the testing packets as the bunch that came with it resulted in the lowest Ph being lower, the middle being close enough, and the higher Ph being over 1% higher than it should have been. Should have bought one somewhere like walmart so I could have returned it.

super satisfied on my review.

I use it to check the water pH of my purifier. I asked for extra calibration powder because I discarded them after use. They sent me another meter with powder as a gift. How generous!

If you care don’t buy

I followed directions step by step and it will not calibrate. Could not even get it past the first solution. Hold for 5 seconds and flashed error every time. Try to return or replace and apparently there is a no return policy.

Works well best in my review

The unit I received was brand new and it has been working well and consistently ever since I got it a few weeks ago. I researched a lot of these beforehand, and it was very hard to choose, but this one seemed to have the least negative reviews. So far so good!

Product does not work. Won't even turn on. Waste of money. This sucks because i really need it now, and now i have to order another one.

Almost a waste of time and money

Just like when you buy anything really cheap you get what you pay for I'm not really satisfied with it but I guess it's better than nothing now I have a really nice pH meter it cost $79

We got a used item - my new review

I might have given 3 or 4 stars because it does measure ph, perhaps like a drunken sailor but enough for my needs. But this item was obviously a return that was just recycled to the next customer. Scratched and without a protective covering and who knows how much battery juice is left in it. However it seems to test ph to about minus .5 leeway.
