To be honest I was very upset when I found out that this device is not compatible with the GeekSmart Android app, but I think it's my fault that I did not read carefully; I fully assumed that this device would have an accompanying app. This being the case, I have no way of opening the door for anyone remotely and I will never be able to update the firmware on this device. But for the price I can't complain much, and as long as it runs smoothly (which it still has), it shouldn't be a problem in the future either. With that in mind, the build quality of this pen is absolutely phenomenal and extremely durable. I wasn't expecting the build quality to be this high and I'm definitely impressed. Once installed, the door handle doesn't play or wobble and is as solid as it gets. Seriously, not the slightest bit of movement and he's rock solid! Both installation and setup were very easy and it works flawlessly every time I use it. I had every intention of deducting a star or two from my rating due to the app not being supported BUT I am so impressed with the build quality of this door knob that it gets 5 stars all day. Once again I am very impressed and thank you very much for a great product! I can't wait to roll on the floor laughing next time my kids try to enter my office without me knowing ;) lol
