Review on Reboot CUT50DL Frequency Inverter Aluminum by David Causillas

I was skeptical about buying a cheaper plasma cutter. So far I've been very impressed. The thickest metal I've cut so far was 2 3/8" drill pipe. Used to cut out saddles to make a swinging picnic table frame. Worked fantastic. This machine cut perfectly and did a great job even on rusty metal. There are two things that I think could be better about a car 1: I think the way the regulator is mounted on the back could be better, when connecting the air line you need to force the regulator with the support other hand. Feels thin. Also because of this problem, I don't use the regulator on the machine to adjust the pressure. I just installed an instrument regulator on my compressor and had no problems. 2: The ground wire should be longer. Me will probably change it to a longer wire later 3: It works very well at 50 amps, which is what I use most of the time, although I rarely use it at 120 volts could scratch the surface of this drill pipe. May fit 14 gauge square tubing or similar. I like the length of the cutting wire. The pilot arc works great and I have fewer arc loss issues than the more expensive machine I have at work. The cutting end works better than others I've used. I wasn't sure if I'd like it, but I found it easier to work freehand or use a ruler or pipe saddle as a guide. Hope this helps someone.
