Review on 🔑 GM Genuine Parts D1473D Uncoded Ignition Lock Cylinder: Top-Quality Replacement for Enhanced Security and Performance by John Bailey

This was the perfect replacement part for my 2004 Corvette. Console disassembled (the C5 console was easier to disassemble than my former C4 Wetta console), old ignition lock unplugged (don't forget to "unlock" with the key), old ignition lock removed, old ignition lock taken, new ignition lock and car key to our local locksmith ( they coded a new $30 ignition switch), installed a new ignition switch (tested before reassembly) and then reassembled the console. Ideal! So far, so good. (Sorry for the stupid comment in the video. I loved it, it worked great with no issues and I had no more safety issues.) Great ignition switch replacement.
