Review on Persil ProClean Liquid Laundry Detergent by Jennifer Dunn

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Dirty bottle, good product.

Hello. My name is Brian and I don't use cheap laundry detergent. I usually find out that detergent sucks after using it for a few months and see how dirty my clothes get. I've used cheap stuff. That's why I've been extremely reluctant to use anything other than Tide for the last ten years. No matter what type of Tide you buy, you know it's going to get the job done. However, I don't like using capsules because sometimes I have very small washes that don't need a whole capsule. So I did a little research. I've found this material to be very highly rated in consumer reviews and the reviews here on Revain were pretty decent too. I decided that I would try. Most of the negative reviews seem to focus on the smell. It's now common knowledge that most people use ten times more detergent than they actually need to get the job done, and I want to illustrate this with a story. Detergent manufacturers have long faced a dilemma, knowing that consumers tend to overuse their products. Using too much product reduces effectiveness. But it also means more sales. So what are detergent companies doing? Proctor & Gamble decided to introduce capsules. The capsule is designed to regulate the amount of detergent used and can be sold at a price that will increase company profits *and* save consumers money. A few months ago, while in the middle of a move, I found myself in a laundry room one night, watching a few people not understanding this basic concept. A lady put four capsules in a load of laundry. The other part of smell that I find very painful to think about is that a new product with a different smell is going to feel out of place for a while. That's why I never change my deodorant and rarely my shampoo. I figured since smell was the main switch and since most people tend to use too much detergent, this was probably a pretty good one. My first impression was that the smell was strong during washing and drying, but now that I wear them I can hardly smell them on my clothes. My impression of what he did with the laundry is pretty high. Also. My cotton feels soft and the white comes out bright. If I notice my clothes are dirty after a few months I will come back and update my review. But first I have to say that it passes the usage test. My only complaint is that the bottle is very very dirty.
