I ordered these picks to replace my broken glass picks. When I saw this stainless steel press, I thought it would solve the broken glass problem. LET ME REFER TO ITS CAPACITY as the listing is confusing and inaccurate listing 1L / 8 cups in the title and 12 oz / 350ml in the description. The amount of water you can add after adding coffee grounds (assuming you add 4 level scoops of coffee using the measuring scoop provided) is one of the following: 4 cups 32 oz 0.95 liters 946 ml If you use more it will run through the spout over when the plunger is inserted. It comes with 3 screens, one is already installed and has a herringbone pattern and the other 2 are separate and standard screens. You can put them on the plunger if you want your coffee/espresso to have fewer fine deposits. Or you can use them as a spare when needed. The included scoop is a large 1 level scoop per cup of water, you may not want to fill the scoop all the way if you prefer a lighter coffee. The double-walled stainless steel carafe is not vacuum sealed, so the outer wall gets hot. It holds the temperature longer than a glass carafe, but we typically use 2 large 16oz mugs for pouring, so the coffee is used on the first pour. It is very beautiful and also works well when camping. again.
