I got this because my roots have grown so much from being quarantined at home for months. My hair is usually dyed blonde, but my roots grew out about 6 inches, so I just applied it to my head to even out the color. I just applied it to my roots and bangs to even out the color, over the sink and then applied it with a dark washcloth to the hair on the sides of my face that has turned completely gray and I think it works great I haven't shampooed it out yet but it's great until I get to the beauty salon. I bought a bottle with an angled nozzle but didn't use it because there is a very shallow hole in the top of the bottle and since I just rubbed it into my scalp it worked fine.
