Anyone expecting this device to be accurate at low current should read the specifications. Current accuracy is specified as +/- 3% AND +/- 0.5 amps. This means that a current reading of 1 amp can actually be between 0.5 and 1.5 amps. I'm using it in a circuit where the maximum current is 10 amps, so I put the wire carrying the battery current through the hall sensor 10 times. Now I have to divide the readings for amps, amp-hours, watts and watt-hours by 10, but the low current accuracy is 10 times better.
