Review on πŸͺ‘ Gemdeck Portable Telescoping Stool: Collapsible Folding Chair for Camping | Max Load 881lb by Joe Jordan

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Sometimes you have to sit and it has to be stable, if a little heavy

We love hiking and my boyfriend and I both don't have great backs. I have to sit down after a while like him. When you're out and about, there's not always a place to sit. Even if you are wandering around for some festivals. He felt that a single leg tripod seat was the solution for him and I know my balance is off, so I figured this stool would suit me better. It comes in its own little bag and the chair itself has a handle. Since I don't like carrying anything around, I will most likely want to carry it on my back. I have a small rope backpack that I don't use for anything to carry it in. This thing I thought was a little heavy to carry around 3lbs. , but it is doable. For someone with arthritis, this can be uncomfortable. It took a little force to get it to its full height. Then, to shrink it back down, you have to spread it apart and twist it in the opposite direction. When using it I found it to be a decent height and very stable. That was important to me, my knees don't like to bend that much and if it was unstable at that height I would have problems. I haven't used it extensively yet. Usually only tried at home. But that seems to be the solution to my need. I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 as it is a bit heavy and also difficult for some people to open and close.

Cons
  • Good but not great
