I've been using this glassware for a little over a year and have been relatively happy until this morning. While cleaning glasses in the kitchen this morning, one of the tall glasses "exploded" into a thousand pieces after I put the glass on the shelf and walked away. The glassware was at room temperature after air drying overnight, so heat and cold were not an issue. The only explanation I can find is that there must be some defect in the glass. I've never come across anything like this, so naturally I'm a bit worried about continuing to use the remaining points in the set.
