To be honest it was a D on the first day. It was so easy to put together that my older cat took to it immediately. He used to have a hammock, but he was tall and not as agile as he used to be. However, I noticed the problem immediately. Once inside, the fabric fell onto the edges of the frame. I thought how impractical it would be, but he kept using it, so it really mattered. Now he doesn't sleep in it anymore. I see him more often on a wooden stool than on this one. The way the fabric flexes and hugs the bottom edge of the frame is poor design. Even my kitten, who is much lighter, slept in it for a while and doesn't use it anymore. A heavier fabric or a different frame would go a long way.
