Review on 🔪 KA-BAR 1217S Leather Sheath with USMC Logo | 7" Blade Knife | Brown by Fred Griffin

Made from very strong cowhide leather in Mexico, this attractively embossed leather sheath fitted my KA-BAR Mark II knife (WWII Vintage) perfectly. Like a quality baseball glove, the cover feels thick and stiff, but once broken in, it fits perfectly. It took a little strength and stretching, but I was able to snap the straps onto the knife handle. After leaving the button on for a few minutes, I unzipped it and was able to reattach the straps fairly easily. The sheath is well finished, especially the sea embossing, and the leather has a pleasant natural smell.
