Decent Deal - Car Audio

I wanted to replace an old Pioneer car radio after the sale. I needed a detachable front panel CD player and wanted to upgrade to something with bluetooth. I also wanted to spend about $50 or less if possible. Looking around, I settled on this BOSS 750BRGB stereo. This stereo was purchased for $53 direct from Amazon with free Prime shipping, the same stereo is $71.99 on the BOSS AUDIO website and $59.99 at Walmart. com. The radio tape recorder came new in the package at night. It included the unit, instructions, hardware, wiring harness and remote control. Installation was very easy AND I AM AN IDIOT!. Right out of the gate I noticed a sound improvement over my old Pioneer stereo! Also, I noticed from the start that playing CDs takes longer to load and I don't think the unit displays song/artist/album information on the LCD screen. I have to study it. I think I'll get used to it. After a week of using the stereo, I'm happy with the Bluetooth capabilities. The device instantly pairs with my Android phone and switches seamlessly when I turn off the engine to refuel or something. Pretty impressive. The device offers pre-installed equalizer settings, a volume option and allows you to adjust the treble, bass and speaker volume. The stereo system offers a choice of color lighting (one color at a time). The fixture is very BRIGHT and I don't see any way to dim the fixture. I haven't checked the remote control or calling functions. Overall I am satisfied with this device. The sound is good, Bluetooth is good. I kind of miss seeing album/song/artist information on the LCD screen. The CD player is a bit slow and noisy when working, it reminds me of CD players from the 90's. I hope it has a long lifespan.
