DO NOT use chalkboard paint
The blog I'm subscribed to suggests this is a good buy for chalkboard paint use; However, it left a shadow that I couldn't remove. The paint "aged" the recommended 3 days, and I didn't leave the chalk marker on it for very long. I tried removing it with water first, then slops (Dawn) but the shadow stayed.
