Review on Cut Resistant Work Gloves For Men And Women - 3 Pairs Of Comfortable Gardening, Mechanics, And Fishing Gloves By Dowellife (Small, Grey) by Aaron Ayo

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for Sharpening Knives, axes, lawn mower blades. with sharpening stones only.

I bought this set of gloves for my son. He and I both have large knife collections. I purchased my first set a few years back. After he recently darn near cut the tip of his finger off I decided he needed these too. We both use all type sharpening rods and stones and leather. Usually the smaller the knife the easier it is to cut yourself. I wouldn't try stabbing myself through these, but for sharpening a knife collection, kitchen knives. Lawn mower blades, axes and hatchets these are very much an essential, using stones or leather strops only. Don't try tempting fate on a table saw or a grinder. But for overall sharpening of utensils these are a must have. The gloves are ambidextrous. I use a Lansky Puck on bigger knives and hatchets, so forth. I always wear these. Same with my Heinkel's. Well worth the money.

Pros
  • They are perfect for gardening, mechanics, and fishing, as they offer ample protection without compromising on comfort.
Cons
  • Might not provide enough protection from sharp objects
