Review on HitLights Light Strip Power Supply by Elizabeth Thornton
Turns on very slowly
This one Power supply was connected to a HitLights 5 foot standard density LED string (15W total load, under 24W nominal power). The lights will turn on after about 3 seconds each time. When using a power supply unit from another manufacturer, the lighting switches on immediately. Slow turn-on times are therefore associated with this power supply. This is a reasonable value but I had to teach the family to turn on the wall switch but wait for the light to come on before entering the room (staff safety issue). I've tried two examples of this power supply from HitLights, but both are slow to turn on.
